Combining the style of a boutique hotel with the relaxing atmosphere of a family-run B&B, each of our rooms is spacious and thoughtfully furnished, with stunning views over the Caithness coast. The rural location ensures not just wonderful views but also peace and quiet without noisy neighbours or traffic to disturb you.
Our bathrooms have been described as ‘amazing’ by our guests and provide the perfect opportunity to relax after travelling or a day out, with large high pressure showers and separate ‘feature’ baths in each Suite.
Accredited with the Visit Scotland ‘Taste Our Best’ quality award, our breakfasts are cooked to order using a variety of locally-sourced produce, served with our own homemade bread. Choose between a traditional full Scottish breakfast, a continental option including fresh fruit and yoghurt or one of our specialities such as parcelled smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or American pancakes with crispy bacon and maple syrup.
Breakfast is taken in our wonderful garden room with full views of Dunnet Head, the Castle of Mey and the Orkney Islands.
MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR STAY
There is so much to see and do in the area – from ancient history and fascinating wildlife to stunning scenery and deserted beaches, and we don’t want you to miss out! We can help you to explore it yourself with one of our self-guided tours or if you would prefer a break from driving, you may choose to take a private chauffeured tour with our new venture, North Coast Explorer, or one of our accredited partners. See our EXPLORE section for further information.
And after your sight-seeing, why not enjoy a wee alcoholic beverage whilst surveying the view from our fabulous Garden Room? We are proud to offer locally produced Rock Rose Gin, Holy Grass Vodka, Old Pulteney & Wolfburn Whisky and ales from the Orkney Brewery as well as wines and beers from further afield.
